In the 1970s, Peg, a passionate cook, created a unique blend of salt and spices that enhanced any dish. She shared it with friends and family, and once they tried it, they couldn’t cook without it. Peg passed the recipe to her daughter, who founded Peg’s Salt® in 2012 to share the family’s flavorful secret. To this day, we at Peg’s Salt carry on the tradition of hand-mixing recipes in small batches, just as Peg did. Thousands of homes stock Peg’s Salt (or Peg’s Pink Salt) as an essential ingredient.
