Unión Salazonera Isleña, S.A. (USISA) is an Andalusian company dedicated, for more than 40 years, to a millenary tradition: the artisanal production of canned and salted fish. In our only factory, located in Isla Cristina (Huelva, Spain), we process more than 12,000 tons of fish annually under the TEJERO, USISA and EL DECANO brands We work with great care on the raw material that comes directly to us from the coast, with the sole objective of continuing to give consumers a product of excellence. For this reason, to accompany our preserves, we rely only on the best olive and sunflower oils in Andalusia. The right balance for the senses is achieved with a touch of sea salt and that's it! The end result is a product that perfectly preserves all the organoleptic and nutritional properties. Its high fatty acid content (Omega 3) is one of its main characteristics. It also has a good ratio between proteins and unsaturated fats (typical of oily fish), as well as a significant supply of minerals and vitamins. Today, USISA is present throughout the country and part of Europe thanks to the full confidence achieved by our brands and products. A fresh and quality raw material, a controlled and guaranteed production, as well as a highly involved and qualified human team are the reasons why consumers are faithful to our flavour.
