About Lola and Finn Paperie

Hello, there! I am Randah––wife to Finn and dog mom to Lola! They both have inspired me to persevere and make what I love. In return, I have comprised a business name that tributes to them. My hand lettered illustrations and funky polymer clay earrings are much like them–– quirky, vibrant, and a little sassy. My background in the arts blossomed with my fondness for art at a very young age. I have always known I wanted to be an artist. Literally. I would go above and beyond on projects in grade school through high school. I, then, double majored in Graphic Design and Fine Arts from a small college in Iowa! From there, I moved to Ireland for a year and ended up in the heart of the Midwest... Kansas City! My postcard inspirations transpire from my love of floral print, from traveling and seeing new things, and by words that resonate with me. Sarcasm was always something steady in my life. So was art. I used sarcasm as a coping mechanism to manage my depression and anxiety. I also have a rather huge obsession with floral illustrations and the 60's/70's. Also, being a graphic artist, my friends always came to me to help them with designs, which sprouted the idea to open my own shop! I hope my designs mean something to you like they do to me!
