About Designed For Joy

Designed For Joy is nonprofit providing transitional work experience for women coming from trafficking, homelessness, justice involvement, overcoming addiction or other vulnerable situations. We provide competitive wage work hours while building confidence and refreshing resumes. To date, we have hired over 200 women emerging from crisis where they have earned over more than $920,000 in competitive wages. The creation of our beautiful handmade bags and home decor provide our artisans with dignified work during their time with us. Read their story
