About Botón de Azúcar

Botón de Azúcar was born as a result of an experimentation with buttons and fabric. Meaning “Sugar Button”, each peace harmonizes contrasts, colors and patterns to create one of a kind pieces meant to stand out like a piece of candy to the eye. The infinite combination of fabrics patterns generate unique pieces that are completely different from one another and celebrate individuality. We don't buy new fabric as of 2020. We currently work with fabric scraps donated from other makers, damaged clothing or dead stock from different sources. This way each piece helps minimize the pollution generated by the textile industry and makes each piece even more unique.Read their story
