About Local Food Cycling France

We have developed and marketed a kitchen compost accessible to everyone with a concept that came from Japan, following our partnership with a local Japanese company Food Cycling. This type of compost can help every household reduce the amount of waste by 12 kg per month, waste that everyone can turn into breeding ground for their plants, helping to nourish the soil and regenerate biodiversity while reducing the carbon footprint due to waste transport and waste treatment. Our kitchen compost with substrate allows the activation of microorganisms in aerobes, that is to say in an oxygenated medium, the substrate absorbs the liquids of the organic matter so there is no loss of these nutrients and also no bad odors, so the user gets a nutrient-rich potting soil for the plants. Our compost bags made of recycled felt are entirely made in the Paris region, by an associative workshop “Mode Estime”, with the aim of helping reintegration through apprenticeship in sewing trades.
