Are you looking for unique modern jewelry? And is sustainability important to you? Welcome to Monkey Wood: My name is Laura and I am wood jewelry designer living in Spain. Sustainability has always been very important to me, that's why I started to create laser cut and handmade wooden jewelry with reclaimed woods, perfect for eco-conscious to connect with their natural side. 💚 🌳I use certified recycled Wood (FSC) that I hand paint using environmentally friendly paints and resin in my studio, where I transform natural wood into lightweight modern jewelry. Due to the nature of wood grain all pieces are unique - each one slightly different from the other, yet all equally beautiful: a cute sustainable alternative to mass-produced pieces. 🌱Natural materials: The wood I use is obtained in the most respectful way: collecting prunnings and fallen trees from local Spanish forests, without without cutting down trees. In this way you and me together take care of the forests. 🎨Laser cut and artisanal process: I draw and design each piece and my laser cut machine cuts the pieces. Then I start the artisanal and slow process, beeing careful for every detail. All metal pieces are nickel free and made of Sterling silver, stainless steel or gold-plated brass. 💦Waterproof jewelry: I glaze wood pieces with non toxic vegetal resin to make them durable, waterproof and easy to clean. ♻️Recycling-ready packaging Biodegradable and recyclable elements on packaging – and 100% plastic free!
