Allison Hylant is the founder and designer behind dale & blue. A small company based in Detroit, Michigan that makes bespoke goods for home and life aiming to connect the heritage of our family with yours. The company was founded with a simple philosophy. People over things. We love things, it is why we make them. But that should never come at the expense of the makers or the environment. With every decision we consider the deeper impact and make the best choice with those values in mind. Our Name: To put it simply, we are named after Allison’s two grandfathers. Dale Jennings and Robert (Blue) Hylant. The name and company ethos pays tribute to all hardworking women and men who have tried to build something for themselves instead of following the status quo.
