About Apricoss

Electric and functional Apricoss is a non-seasonal brand that was born out of a desire to explore the concept of femininity and simplicity. Created by a designer and mom Sofia Syu, after her own search for a contemporary priced long-lasting swimwear that was flattering, unique and versatile during her travels. The result is a line of swimsuits with Xtra Life Lycra. All of the our suits are made from a densely knit and lightweight nylon and polyester fabric made by an Italian manufacturer that's been producing high-quality knits for more than 50 years. The fabric has UV protection, is stain resistant to oil and sunscreen, and is more chlorine resistant than your average swimsuit making Apricoss suits last longer. With a strong drive to pursue more sustainable practices we added to our line swimwear made with recycled nylon. Recently we expanded our line by adding clothes made with dead stock fabric. We are inspired by creative thinking, timeless fashion and sustainability. We focus on pieces rather than product lines and bring to life mini collections that are unique, unexpected and storytelling. We design and manufacture our “stories" between New York and Casablanca.
