Ben was drawn to glass from a young age but didn’t get to give lampworking a try until he was 38 yrs old, in 2016. After a lesson or two, he was able to build his own home flameworking studio. His first creations were mostly soft glass beads. Kristi saw an opportunity to use his beads to make unique art like hanging plant holders, wire wrapped pieces and dream catchers. Their collaboration sparked a deep desire to create, and they quickly centered their lives around making art. Two years after they started creating, they were invited to their first art show and a few months after that they became regular vendors at local art events. They continue to be inspired by each other, their world travels, the natural world and their journey as parents of 3 young kids.
