Kyle Payne and Max Blackman met while working together at a restaurant on Folly Beach, SC. They united themselves in one mission: Create simple, delicious, unique and healthful smoked foods that everyone can enjoy. With this, they created their first product, Holy Smoke Smoked Olive Oil. Starting at the Charleston Farmers Market in 2012, they have since brought their Smoked Olive Oil to the nation and are in major grocery stores like Whole Foods, Harris Teeter and Central Market. They didn't stop at just Smoked Olive Oil and now have 4 other great product. Hickory Smoked Wildflower Honey, Hickory Smoked Sea Salt and Black Pepper, and Smoked Bloody Mary Mix. If you're wondering how they magically smoke their products, Max and Kyle created a cold-smoking machine that keeps the their products near freezing while being smoked. The ensures they stay raw and retain all of their chemical and nutritional properties while being infused with savory hickory smoke.
