Welcome to Genuinely Made, I'm Azlyn Solomon and our brand is inspired by my mother. As a little girl my mother sewed all of my childhood clothing; from dresses to bows & hand-tied ribbons, I always felt like the prettiest girl in the room. In 2004 I tragically lost my mother to terminal cancer. A few years later I became pregnant with my first daughter. Remembering the way my mom showed her love for me through handmaking, inspired me to create something meaningful for my own daughter. In the spring of 2013 I came across an Etsy shop for leather goods, and immediately felt drawn to leather hides. The thought that I could take something that used to serve a profound purpose, but now was lost & turn it into something beautiful was healing and inspirational. Genuinely Made offers you handcrafted leather bows that are elegant & classy. We pride ourselves on quality leathers and unique designs that pair well with an array of little girls wardrobes.
