About Yuna Yang

Stemming from Seoul, Manhattan-based designer, artist and educator Yuna Yang is the epitome of today’s fashion Renaissance woman. Her eponymous label, the YUNA YANG COLLECTION, is inspired by the colors, textures and narratives in fine art combined with her love of detail and unique Eastern perspective on Western aesthetics. Featuring women’s high-end designer wear, each design in the collection leverages a modern vision that harmonizes the quality of traditional couture. Proudly designed and made in New York, Yang uses materials from around the world for her collection that can be found in selected high-end boutiques across the US, Middle East and Asia. With her F/W 2010 debut, the cover of Women’s Wear Daily proclaimed that she’s “a sure winner just out of the gate with her charming Louise Brooks-inspired first collection.” Her S/S 2011 collection was featured in New York Magazine (Nine Designers to Watch), followed by a second cover story in WWD.
