About Octopus Ink

Hello! My name is Shara Dorris. I'm an artist, designer, and educator with a background in printmaking and marine science. I hold conservation close to my heart and hope that my art can inspire greater awareness toward the diversity of life in the ocean and the importance of preserving it. As an avid swimmer and diver, I grew up exploring the world beneath the surface of the water and am always excited to introduce my blue world to others. In my free time, you can find me underwater- studying the fish, guiding new divers, or growing coral.
