About Northwind

In 2017, employees at a local manufacturing company realized that the production process for leather goods left behind a large amount of remnant leather. If the manufacturers didn’t have an immediate use for it, this beautiful material ended up in a landfill. These employees wanted to eliminate this waste, so they created Northwind, a company with a mission of prioritizing sustainability. Our new featured line, The Modern Collection, is a high-end line of personalized luxury goods made from beautiful, vegetable-tanned leather made right here in the USA.Read their story
