About Ink and Kimchi

Ink and Kimchi was born out of the art of being a small world traveler. Everyone gasps at the stories of a world traveler, but have we stopped to think about how truly wonderful all the small things are bridging all of our individual worlds together? I think it's pretty amazing! Erin Kim is a digital and gouache illustrator set out to find the every day moments through her work. As a Korean American Adoptee, Erin has captured her experience of growing up in the South with a nontraditional family and slowly learning what Korean American culture is in her adulthood. Her pieces range from unique portraitures to foodie drawings to Asian inspired scenes. Read their story
