Mackenzie Kuck is an artist and textile designer with a passion for putting beautiful and innovative things into the world. Her dedication to environmental stewardship is reflected throughout her creative work and business practices. In addition to being a lifelong artist and a former architectural designer, Mackenzie founded sustainable textile label Take Heart Textiles in 2023. Realizing the need for non-toxic, natural materials, she created a line of natural fabrics and eco-friendly lifestyle goods featuring her playful, painterly designs. Mackenzie's fabrics are printed with eco-friendly inks onto a range of sustainable, plant-based materials. Mackenzie is dedicated to local manufacturing and takes great pride in having all her art prints, textiles, and lifestyle goods made locally to Washington DC. Read their story
