About PureomEO™ Essential Oils & Perfumery

Scott Johnson, the developer of PureomEO™ Essential Oils, has been making perfume for more than 35 years. As a child, Scott was fascinated by the scents of the trees, plants, and flowers that he encountered while exploring the woods and grasslands of northern Minnesota. While enjoying the natural world, and gardening extensively, Scott learned how scent can elicit emotions, evoke memories, and uplift the spirits. He also learned that scents are complexly layered, and can be mixed in interesting, and even surprising ways. After experimenting with essential oils and perfume making for many years, and gaining a clear sense of the differences between high and low-quality oils, Scott established PureomEO™ Essential Oils in 2004 in his Minneapolis workshop. The line has since expanded to include more than 160 oils, eau de parfums, perfume roll-ons, body/massage oils, and even hand sanitizers. As the line of available PureomEO™ products continues to grow, the fundamentals remain the same: topnotch eco-friendly ingredients, thoughtful handmade processes, and small batch craftsmanship.
