About Janine

A FAMILY STORY Behind the name of the soap factory is a woman. Janine is my grandmother's first name. A strong and discreet woman at the same time, attached to traditions and transmission. Every day, she shared her little secrets sparingly and tenderly, and was keen to share her values. This soap factory could not bear a name other than that of this inspiring woman. This name gives it a real meaning, it refers to nature, to benevolence, to the desire to return to basics, to the essential. A PASSIONATE AND ARTISANAL PRODUCTION I compose my recipes on a traditional basis of vegetable oils and butters, to which I add my botanical universe around flower powders, plant macerates and vegetable milks that I make myself upstream in my workshop. Each soap is unique, a real concentrate of raw nature shaped by hand in an artisanal way. For their manufacture, I proceed by cold saponification, an ancestral method that, in addition to being environmentally friendly, preserves the properties and benefits of the ingredients.
