About Periodically Inspired

Periodically Inspired® began during a cold Rhode Island winter in 2010. Fending off cabin fever by staring at the Periodic Table, I started playing around with different combinations of elements and created a few words and funny phrases. I printed these new designs on clothing, cups, coasters and more, and I registered my business name. I opened my Etsy shop and launched a website, grabbed my Periodically Inspired® banner and business cards, and started selling at weekend arts markets in Boston, Providence and NYC. After creating, marketing, and successfully selling my first few designs, the options seemed limitless. So I created more, traveled more, and sold more! As time went on, Periodically Inspired® products were placed on the shelves of the M.I.T. Museum Store, popular retail shops all over New England, seven stores in Seattle, and the Uncommon Goods catalog! I have done both retail and wholesale trade shows in Boston, NYC, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Portland and San Jose. Now, with several long-term wholesale relationships, more than 5,000 sales on Etsy and a solid 5-star rating, I’m proud of how this little business has grown. Thank you all!Read their story
