ISOBELL DESIGNS is a contemporary jewelry brand based on the idea that minimalism brings out the essence of design and craft. Every piece is handcrafted in San Luis Obispo, Ca, focusing on historical design and traditional metalsmithing techniques. Behind every collection is a love for art in all forms. ISOBELL owner and jeweler Melody Shirazi draws inspiration from her Persian heritage, its geometric shapes, and rich history, as well as a blend of 1920s American architecture and California coastal colors. The purpose of every piece is to inspire simplicity, creativity and delight through connection and design. Relying on her background in graphic design and photography, Melody melds the past with the present in her approach to jewelry making. Working primarily with gemstones, recycled sterling silver, and brass, she creates delicate, timeless pieces to serve as a daily affirmation of classic style.
