About Elise Stalder

Elise Stalder is a Norwegian artist and illustrator. Her studio and home is located at the Hvesser farm in Southeastern Norway. Elise's love for nature and animals is strongly present in her work and she is inspired by Nordic wildlife and the rural surroundings in her immediate area. She mainly works with watercolors. The illustrations are charming with feelings, personality and character with natural and soft use of lines and colors. «The magic and mystery of nature acts as a rich source of inspiration and I wish to recreate the beautiful, calm moments of being in the nature and in the presence of animals.» Elise Stalder’s illustrations are available as limited edition art prints and/or art cards.
