About Lithologie

Founders Stéphane and Kim met over their shared passion for geology. Together, they were fascinated by discovery new applications for the material properties of stones. After a few Facebook messages, an envelope of rocks sent by mail and countless tests, Lithologie was born in the hopes of bringing Canada’s geological heritage to the masses. The inspiration for Lithologie came from the beauty of Canada’s natural landscapes. The rocks and stones of these landscapes tell the story of our common history. Our products are co-created with our customers and partners to produce something that is beautiful and durable. Operating with the greatest respect for the environment, we manufacture all items by hand. We extract all our rocks ourselves directly from the mountainside, without the use of heavy machinery and working only with local products and manufacturers.Read their story
