About RE+

From Mariplast's fifty years of experience in the production of plastic accessories for textiles, Re+ is born, an Italian brand of eco-sustainable, fun and design lighting. Thanks to the collaboration with the designer Stefano Giovacchini and with the architects Sabrina Bignami and Alessandro Capellaro, ReOne, Re Voluxion, RetWin and REmini were born, hanging or table lamps that have as a diffuser, a plastic support created for dyeing the yarns wrapped on it. From recycling we move on to reuse. From a process of inserting waste into the production line, which in any case requires the use of energy, with Re+ we move on to a level of revaluation of waste through design. The ecological Re+ lamps are made entirely of recycled plastic and can be completely disassembled into the individual constituent elements, in order to maximize the amount of recyclable material. With the Re+ line, Mariplast won in 2009 the competition “The House of the Third Millennium”, organized by the CNA of Prato and brought the Tuscan town to the forefront of the international scene. In addition, in 2010 ReOne was recognized as one of the “100 most significant design objects of 2010" (Source: Christmust 2010).
