About Deb's Creative Paws

Hello, I'm artist Deb Lestenkof, I primarily paint with alcohol inks, the vividly wild medium that’s risen in popularity and taken over the art world by storm. Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska and now living in Wasilla, I've gained followers from all over the world, who are drawn to my unique and colorful work! A two-time kidney transplant recipient, I also use my journey to help inspire the healing effects of artwork and creating in my art classes. Being drawn to the bright, happy colors, I began using alcohol ink to help me endure chronic health issues and am now teaching classes to students all over the country. My work has been featured in Alaska magazine (July 2017) for my innovative techniques and has been voted Best Artist of Alaska for 2019, 2020 and 2021. My work sells amazingly quickly with a high re-order rate, is popular with all ages and grabs people’s attention with the vibrant, abstract look while still telling a story.
