Few brands can boast of being part of the French textile heritage. Rodier is one of them. Since 1956, the knitwear house has stood out as a key player in ready-to-wear fashion, having seen and known it all, and has weathered time with its well-crafted timeless pieces. Before becoming the king of the twin-set, Rodier was a family of Picard weavers, very fashionable and pioneering in the development of new materials. A supplier of textiles for haute couture, Rodier was a renowned address. In fact, Coco Chanel bought her first rolls of Jersey from Rodier as early as 1916. As the house changed ownership in the fifties, Rodier positioned itself as an essential knitwear brand, while ready-to-wear fashion took off in France and around the world.
