About Knot Phased

Hello and welcome to Knot Phased! My name is Rebecca and I’m a self taught fibre artist based in the South Wales Valleys. I’ve always loved all types of art, and am happiest when I’m busy creating! After a number of ups and downs with my physical and mental health, I was feeling a little lost. Add in the pressures of new motherhood and I was in desperate need of an artistic outlet. With a tiny explorer on my hands I didn’t fancy taking on the task of trying to keep curious little fingers out of my paints, so I started searching for another way to be creative. After finding some images of gorgeous wall hangings online I decided to order some cord and get practicing and that's pretty much how my love of all things fibre art and macramé began! I've created some DIY macrame kits as I want to give others an easy way to get started with macrame and hopefully ignite a passion for knotting in them too! Knot Phased was born from my desire to share my work with others and also gain some independence. I really hope you all love my creations as much as I do!
