It all started when I gave my mom a spider plant for Mother's Day. I know, sweet. I was in 8th Grade and I was so excited to get her a nice gift. It was the first houseplant she had after we moved to Buffalo. She kept this plant alive throughout the years and now I have spider babies from it! Anyway, long story short...I now have my own house plant collection. So, when you run out of surface space the plants need to go somewhere else, right? Well, I got the idea of making my own plant hangers inspired by old macrame pattern books. Browsing these books always brings me back to when I would go through my grandma's sewing patterns with her and learn how to use them.
