About Bea Simple Ltd

My name is Cristina and I am the owner of Bea Simple ltd. Bea Simple is a black-owned brand that tackles everyday beauty concerns whilst being environmentally conscious. I had always wanted to own a business but not just any business. It needed to be something I believed in and was proud of. I have a real passion for beauty products and whilst I was attending university, I looked into creating my own. However, what started out as a simple bet to see if my boyfriend could become a vegetarian back in 2018 resulted in a journey of discovery where I learned the ways of sustainable beauty and alternative packaging options. During this journey, I kept finding the same problem regarding store products. the packaging available was made with one-use plastics and would not work on my natural hair regarding growing healthy hair. I started creating my own formulations that helped me achieve my hair goals whilst using ingredients that are less impactful to the planet and explored reusable containers through a visit to a zero-waste shop in Guernsey back in 2019 and decided to apply the practice of refillable pots for my own products. And that is how Bea Simple started. My goal for Bea simple is to provide beauty products that once you have used them, the containers can be sent back to us for a refill.
