Keneisha Malone started ziya soul in 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee. The goal was to create a remedy for the hair breakage she was experiencing, but the brand continued to move closer and closer to skin care and overall wellness. In 2020, Keneisha began to connect her brand to social justice awareness, especially as it relates to the inequities in the prison system.
