About Objet Sauvage

After more than 10 years working in the fashion industry in Paris and London, Laetitia left behind the hectic life of the city to return to her homeland, the sunny and half-wild South of France. Returning to the familiar scorched landscape, hot sun, and slow life, she developed the idea to create a collection of objects embodying the spirit of the region. It would be a return to the elemental and to artisan hand crating. The very first wild objects to take shape were cast from concrete, but evolving her creative process, Laetitia soon adopted the more eco-friendly Jesmonite. This versatile composite material was fun, more sustainable, and allowed for bold designs. By the end of 2020, the project had grown into a whole family of objects with warm, minimalist aesthetics, and Laetitia's vision was clearly defined. Wild object was born. Objet Sauvage is the amalgamation of Laetitia's fashion eye, and her roots in Southern France, and the turning of her attention from textiles to product design.Read their story
