Uma oath was born from a passion for dance, sewing, and a need to find meaning in a fashion market where the overwhelming supply and fast fashion have made the concept of quality disappear: materials, craftsmanship, and fair pricing. Uma oath embraces an accessible and minimalist design that repurposes materials previously reserved for high-end sportswear to adopt the codes of urban ready-to-wear. Minimal sportswear outfits, easy to wear daily. A focus on technical materials that are difficult to master, a return to the very essence of the craft. Slow fashion, opposing disposable fashion, UMA OATH advocates for a slower pace of production and consumption. Our models are designed to last over time. Manufacturing in France is prioritized for all our short capsules. We work with reduced margins, with French workshops, so that quality is no longer the privilege of a minority. As a partner of the humanitarian association Dance United, Uma oath donates a portion of its profits to support the opening of dance classes for young people in difficulty.
