The Boks&Baum Paris house is revolutionizing the world of haute couture jewelry. It is in the heart of the 6th arrondissement, at the end of a beautiful wooded courtyard steeped in history of the rue de Sèvres, opposite the Bon Marché and a stone's throw from the Lutetia, that these little wonders take shape: Sylvie Boksenbaum, the founder, has put her suitcases there, after years of travels and discoveries that inspired her. The story is born from the incompatibility of the pure metal of classic jewelry on Sylvie's skin. She can't wear metal without her skin reddening. So she decides to cover her necklaces with cotton so that she can put them on. Being introduced to crochet by her grandmother, she then had the idea of inventing a whole range of jewelry delicately wrapped in beautiful cotton, silk and rafia threads.
