With its iconic pendulum tail and lustrous patterns Bonito is a fun emotive accessory for the home. In the living room it reminds of a happy dog wagging its tail, in the bathroom it may recall the big ocean, in the kitchen it represents a tongue-in-cheek upcoming feast and in the office its calm and steady movements stand for precision, persistence and effortlessness. Passionate about fish and ocean life Bonito's founder Gil Muller set out to create a clock brand that is about more than timekeepers. Partnering with the amazing ocean charity Blue Marine Foundation Bonito is contributing 10% of its profits to ocean preservation projects around the world. The Blue Marine Foundation exists to combat over-fishing and the destruction of biodiversity through the creation of marine reserves and the promotion of sustainable fishing. The aim is to put 10% of ocean under protection, with a long-term aim of 30% protected! We hope our Bonitos will bring excitement to as many people as possible and will do a small part in preserving one of our planets most beautiful and important resources.
