About LAMA Leather Goods

Daniela Roa is a self-taught designer and leather worker, and the founder of Lama. Daniela’s engineering background shows through her minimalist designs, all conceived from one or a just few pieces of high quality & ecologically sustainable leather, which are assembled without any stitches or glue. LAMA’s first steps were in a small village in Normandy, where the designer lived in a two-stories-tree-house that inspired her first collection, ARBRES. She moved then moved to Paris for a year, and finally to Berlin, where she is currently established. Thinking of how much some trees can live, she seeks to create long-lasting products that will be passed over and transcend generations.
