About Catching Wildflowers

Brittany Prochaska is a jewelry designer and artist living in Maryland. Brittany Started this business 7 years ago when faced with the choice of leaving her new baby for nursing school or going back to the very craft that brought immense joy during childhood. As a kid my grandmother introduced me to multiple mediums in the crafts, including many hours of bob ross. She was a painter and I absolutely loved when I got the chance to go to the plaster store where she worked. When I was a kid I used to make bead pets and stand on the corner of the gas station and sell them! I love working with natural gemstones and crystals, its wearable art for me and a bonus these were earth created. My favorite is rainbow moonstone and so just happens to be my birthstone as well! My favorite place is outdoors, hiking, anywhere I can sit and birdwatch. Fun facts! I'm a horrible speller, my favorite colors are purple and coral. I have way to many plants. Birdwatcher.
