Hi, I'm Tracy Hansen, the artist behind 59 North Creations. I am an Alaskan Artist and have lived in Homer for the last 13 years now and love it! I grew up in Idaho and studied Art and Design at the University of Idaho. I love to travel and see what the world has to show me. Art helps me express myself and show others how I see the world. Color and texture give so much life to a painting. Acrylics have always been my favorite and I love using a pallet knives to create even more texture and movement. It's exciting to see where it takes me! Life can be stressful and art is one way of letting all of that go. There are no rules (well there are rules, but what's the fun in that.)
