By 2018, they opened their first café in West Union, Iowa, and realized the gap between coffee farmers and consumers. To bridge this gap, they began sourcing directly from farmers, forming lasting relationships. Transparency is key, and they openly share their pricing details. Each year, they visit coffee-producing regions, including Guatemala and Colombia, with plans for Costa Rica and Panama in 2024/25. Their "Write A Note To A Farmer" program lets you connect personally with the farmers.
