In its constant commitment to environmental care, in September 2007, Jacoliva inaugurated an innovative water purification plant for the water from the cleaning of olives and the olive mill's wastewater. Thanks to this new purification system, the water used in the olive oil production process can be returned to the public watercourse or used for irrigation.
