About Jengadi Jean Co.

Jen (Jengadi Jean) is a Fine Artist from New England. Her love affair with water started as far back as her first memories of trips to Cape Cod. Living in the Northeast, it doesn’t take long to get to the ocean. Summers at her best friend’s family cottage on the coast of Maine sealed her obsession with the sea. It is her hope that her paintings feel like a breath of fresh (and salty) air all year round. With hues of seaglass and pops of bright boardwalk colors, when you squint, you’re transported back to that layered horizon by the sea. Jen graduated from Grove City College in Western PA in 2011 with a degree in psychology. While at school, she dabbled in art courses and completed commissions for friends and friends of friends across campus. Soon after graduation, she started teaching preschool and filled her classroom with art, installations, illustrated books and words from Picasso to encourage creativity and imagination. After a health crisis at 24, she left teaching to pursue her dream of being a designer and artist full time and has not looked back.Read their story
