About Beneath the Bark

Beneath the Bark was founded in 2014 by Louisiana artist, Molly Taylor. All the wood used to make our jewelry is locally sourced, reclaimed and salvaged from woodworkers scraps. Molly started this business when she was thinking of Christmas gift ideas for family and friends. Today, Beneath the Bark is a full time business and brand. In 2019, Molly was invited to show her work in New York Fashion Week earning press in Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair, The Cut and more. Each piece is hand cut, sanded and finished with organic oils to preserve the woods natural beauty. We help plant trees with every purchase to help prevent coastal erosion. Beneath the Bark is a small business with a lot of love for our community and customers. We strive to create timeless jewelry and accessories to enjoy for years to come.
