About Odell Design Studio

Odell Design Studio is a New York-based, family owned and run, design company focused on creating Luxury Gift Items using a unique colorization process on glass and metal. A woman-owned business co-founded by mother-daughter duo, Marilyn and Haley Ballard. Together they collaborate on each eye-catching design from bold geometrics to sculptural pieces in their NYC studio. In November 2019, this duo was honored to be selected to participate in the Designing Women Market at the New York Historical Society Museum. Here they joined the long tradition that includes such creative women pioneers as Madam CJ Walker, Clara Driscoll and Estee Lauder. Their exclusive colorization process is new to jewelry and candle making and is merged onto high quality silver and nickel free gold plated brass. They achieve a luxurious finish while keeping the pieces extremely lightweight without sacrificing quality and durability. Their hand-crafted earrings, necklaces, cuffs and rings are each individually colorized, making no two pieces the same. Our pieces are 90% manufactured in our NYC studio with laser cutting outsourced to a NYC based company and gold & silver plating done to the highest standards in Rhode Island. All materials used are ethically sourced in the USA. Their work is carried at Blue Hibiscus, Key West FL; Warwick’s, La Jolla, CA; Phoenix Art Museum, Phoenix AZ. Read their story
