We are located on Chehalem Mountain in Washington County, Oregon 1,200’ AMSL. Our lavender field has views of Mt. Hood, the Cascade Mountains, and the Willamette Valley. We have eight hundred Lavender plants that were planted in 2020: · Grosso (purple): is a large growing English hybrid lavender with dark blue flower spikes known for its high production of essential oil. · Edelweiss (white): Lavandula intermedia is also a English Hybrid Lavender. Blooms with a profuse summer display of snowy white flowers and sweetly aromatic foliage. · No pesticides or fertilizers in our ½ acre, we use a weed barrier to maintain a clean field. The plants are irrigated with harvested rainwater collected on site. All plants are distilled for Essential Oils on our farm. Tree Farm: · 3.5 acres of mature Noble Firs, along with six hundred seedlings planted in 2023. We harvest boughs for Christmas products, along with topping the over-mature trees for Christmas Tree sales. After the trees are topped, the lower portion of the remaining trees continues to produce boughs for years, and the trees live. · 2.5 acres of Douglas Fir Forest that is being thinned to maintain a natural forest for wildlife. The thinned wood is used for firewood and milled for lumber. Chehalem-Mountain.com
