One of my favorite things as a child growing up in small town in Mississippi was when my mother would take me to the local fabric store to pick out patterns, fabrics and trims to have dresses made for me. There was not many department stores for us to shop in and as a creative child I could never find what I was looking for or wanted. Once everything was picked out we would go to the seamstress for me to be measured. She would listen very closely to me explain the details and ideas that were in my head. This experience gave me a love and appreciation for creating designs of my own. That love ultimately lead me to create the brand Summer Waverly, a collection of pajamas that embodies comfort, feminine details and the softest fabrics. Each piece is created to make you feel beautiful from the inside out.
