Welcome to The Land of La, a lively design studio specializing in refined watercolor illustration for brands, celebratory events, portraits, stationery and beyond. Handcrafted, personality-driven art has always been a love for founder, Laura Babcock. After years of making birthday cards for family and friends, her hobby turned into a passion for creating watercolor illustrations of her loved one’s favorite food (or indulgence if you will). After 10 years working within the publishing world as InStyle Magazine’s Art Director, Laura combined her eye for print design with her passion for painting and The Land of La was born.
