About A Treat Not to Eat Soaps

Hello! My name is Nikki. I used to purchase soaps at the Farmer’s Market, I always wanted to make soap, but it was one of those things where I never had the time to fully research it to understand the chemistry, safety precautions around handling the raw materials and once the pandemic hit, I did. I enjoy creating amazing products. After a few months I found I was making products quicker than my friends, family and I could use them, so I started selling them at the local Farmer’s Market and Craft Fairs to continue my soap-making addiction 😉 My product line has expanded exponentially to include: lip balms, heel balms, natural deodorants, whipped body butter, whipped sugar scrub soaps, soap bars, liquid foaming hand soap, lotion (massage) bars, shampoo bars, conditioner bars, car air fresheners, embedded toy soaps, whipped shaving cream soap, bubble bath slime, lotion, custom soap batches and I’m always coming up with new and exciting products. I register my recipes with Health Canada and comply with Health Canada Guidelines for Cosmetic Makers. The concept behind A Treat Not to Eat Soaps is that a number of my soaps have a food-theme to them either in appearance, in the scent, or both. And of course, sometimes everyone just needs to have some ‘me-time’ so it’s a play on the expression “Treat Yourself”.
