About Grits Bits

After writing an all-grits cookbook, "Gone with the Grits", Diane Pfeifer created "Grits Bits", cheese straw biscuits and shortbread cookies baked with grits in the batter (think cornmeal on a pizza crust). The results are crispy "cocktail biscuits" which make a fun welcome gift for Southern weddings, reunions, and corporate events. The colorful packaging provides an eye-catching display in gift shops, gift baskets, or fun hostess gifts. Diane has provided southern welcome bags for the White House First Lady's Luncheon, VIPS for the Chick Fil A Peach Bowl, and has appeared on "Regis and Kathie Lee", CBS This Morning and many others demoing recipes from her cookbooks. Diane is a former backup singer for country music star Tammy Wynette, wrote 2 top 15 country songs for pop star Debby Boone, wrote and self-published 5 cookbooks with over a million copies sold.
