About Coastal Ink Studios by Kristi McDonald

Coastal Ink Studios is a proud creator of high quality archival fine art prints and original artwork. All original artwork and prints are created and shipped by Kristi McDonald from her home studio in Komoka, Ontario, Canada. Originally from Thamesville, Ontario, Canada, Kristi graduated with a BA from Brock University. She is a professional artist who works primarily in drawing and painting mediums such as graphite, ink, oil, watercolour, and acrylic paints. In 2021 she began shifting her focus to developing new collections. She released a series of twelve oil landscape paintings titled “The Wanderlust Collection” which explored connections of past experiences illustrated through experimental expressionism, light, and colour. Within the first two weeks of the release, more than 40% of the collection was sold. In 2022 she released a sister collection titled "Wanderlust II". The collection sold out upon its in-person debut at The Artist Project in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Read their story
