At Wild Rains I sell affordable handmade bath and body products that capture the spirit of the tropics - bright fragrant flowers, fresh lush greenery, juicy fruits and of course warm, white sand beaches. I bring paradise to you. Think – tropics in a jar. I grew up swimming in the Caribbean Sea, sipping coconut water, dancing to reggae and calypso and wearing flip flops and summer dresses all year round. And sometimes, when it's snowing outside, when the temps drop below freezing, and when the air dries out my skin I yearn for the heat of the tropics. That heat brings moisture in the form of wild rains. My son was also struggling with dry skin in the US so I needed to find a way to bring hydration and moisture back. I found the best way to do that was to scrub away the crusty dry skin with a hydrating, product that had a mild exfoliator and add skin loving moisturizers. But most of the scrubs I found were very oily leaving a greasy feel. I wanted to be able to hop in the steamy shower and drift away to the islands, breathing in the dreamy aromas of coconut, pineapple, cloves and other exotic scents but without slipping and sliding. So I decided to handcraft blissful scrubs with a whipped soap base and simple skin loving butters and oils paired with light body mousses scented with tropically inspired fragrances to help you get yourself ready for what the day or night will bring.
