Introducing Hansel British and truly sustainable to its core, Hansel originated in 2018 as Eco-Wrap. The brainchild of a military wife who saw a viral video about the (approximately 1 million metres per day in the UK) gift wrap that goes to landfill, she set about offering a British-made and eco alternative. In 2022 we rebranded as 'Hansel' - connotations of spruce forests and gingerbread cottages - and also it's a word defined as a gift given to mark the start of the year. Of course, at Hansel the brand, gifts are for all year round, making magical moments greener every time. Our products produced at our family-owned and run factory in Derbyshire are plastic-free and recyclable or biodegradable.
